(Adds late game) Oct 27 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Monday's National Hockey League games Oilers 3, Canadiens 0 The Edmonton Oilers cruised past the team with the best record in the NHL, the Montreal Canadiens, to extend their longest winning streak in almost two years. Benoit Pouliot scored in the first period, Nail Yakupov added a goal in the second and Taylor Hall capped things with an empty-netter in the third. After an 0-4-1 start to the season, the Oilers (4-4-1) have rebounded with their first four-game winning streak since April 2013. The Canadiens (7-2-0) saw their four-game winning streak end. Montreal were off to their best start in 53 years. Goaltender Ben Scrivens stopped all 29 shots he faced for his first shutout of the season. Rangers 5, Wild 4 The New York Rangers stormed back from a three-goal, third-period deficit to stun the Minnesota Wild. The Wild entered the third period leading 3-0, but the Rangers received goals from defenseman Kevin Klein, right winger Rick Nash, center Derick Brassard, left winger Anthony Duclair and the winner with 3:11 remaining from left winger Mats Zuccarello. Left winger Jason Zucker's fifth goal of the season put the Wild ahead 4-2 at 5:35 of the third period, but Brassard answered two minutes later to make it 4-3. Duclair and Zuccarello scored 37 seconds apart in the final four minutes to put the Rangers ahead for good. Minnesota (4-3-0) goalie Darcy Kuemper allowed five goals on 20 shots, while goaltender Henrik Lundqvist made 26 saves for the Rangers (5-4-0). (Editing by Jahmal Corner)
