"This guy’s awesome – never goes for the easy joke but also never goes just “weird for weird’s sake.” This tweet is funny to read, even funnier to visualize – it’d make a perfect Far Side comic, and that’s high praise indeed."

Twitter is like a support group for Walsh.
"I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in a crap mood and that silly ol’ website has brightened my day," says Walsh. "No matter how bad your life is going, you’re only three tweets away from someone who has it much worse."
One of the things Twitter has over Facebook is its randomness. While Facebook status updates often read more like announcements, Walsh finds Twitter to be more open.
"It’s crazy and jagged and raw and refreshing and exciting," says Walsh, who finds things like public drunken breakdowns on Twitter exhilarating.
In terms of comedy on Twitter, Walsh tends to laugh at weird, dark stuff -- people spinning their pain into chuckles.
"The best comedy is when you go 'Oh God, how did he/she know that about me?!'" explains Walsh. "The tweeters I’ve chosen hit that sweet spot for me on the reg."
