10 new jailbreak tweaks that are so cool, they’re actually making me a little jealous

Last year’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are the most powerful iPhones the world has ever seen. They positively pulverized quad- and octa-core Android rivals in a number of key performance tests, and they pushed Apple’s iPhone sales to an all-time high in the holiday quarter. iOS 8 makes great use of all that power, having brought a wide range of new features to the iOS platform that make it Apple’s most capable mobile platform to date.

As great as iOS 8 is — and as great as iOS 9 is shaping up to be — there are still plenty of great features that only iPhone owners who jailbreak their phones have access to.

Once upon a time, Android was the platform people turned to if they wanted a mobile experience that was truly versatile and capable. Personally, I can’t even remember the last time I jailbroke an iPhone or iPad — for 95% of users, there’s just no reason to bother.

To be fair, however, the other 5% does have access to some pretty cool features that could make the rest of us jealous. In fact, even I might even be jealous of a couple of the cool jailbreak tweaks highlighted in the latest video from YouTube user “iCrackUriDevice.”

In the video below, Tanner Marsh goes through 10 great new jailbreak tweaks that all work on iOS 8.4 and all pack nifty functionality you won’t find on your iPhone out of the box. See anything you like? You’ll find a link to a guide on how to jailbreak your iPhone in Marsh’s latest blog post. Of course, we advise against jailbreaking unless you know what you’re doing.
