1 dead, 1 hurt in Marion drive-by shootings, police chief says

MARION, S.C. (WBTW) — One person was killed and another person injured Thursday evening in a pair of drive-by shootings in Marion, Police Chief Tony Flowers said.

One person was shot on McMillan Street and another person was shot on Wallace Street, Flowers said. One of the victims was taken to the hospital by EMS and the other by private vehicle.

The condition of the injured person was not immediately known. Flowers said there are no suspects but that the investigation remains in the early stages.
