COMMENTARY | From advanced analytics to fantasy stats to the weekly all-important won-loss totals in your office pool, the NFL increasingly has become a numbers game.

That in mind, here are 20 numbers to know as the Denver Broncos prepare to kick off what they hope is a Super Bowl season on Thursday night against the Baltimore Ravens:

3 Of the 24 players in NFL history with 11 or more Pro Bowl selections are currently active.

2 Of those 3 -- quarterback Peyton Manning and cornerback Champ Bailey with 11 Pro Bowls apiece -- open the season on the Broncos' roster. The other is Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez (12).

.737 Regular-season home winning percentage (170-60-2) for the Broncos from 1973-02, which ranked first in the NFL

.625 Home winning percentage (50-30) for the Broncos over the 10 seasons since, which ranked 11th in the league.

11 of 14 seasons in which a Peyton Manning-quarterbacked team has topped 410 points since he entered the league in 1998.

69 410-plus point seasons for all other teams during that same time span.

.688 Manning's career regular-season winning percentage (154-70) in 14 seasons as a starting QB.

.450 Manning's career postseason winning percentage (9-11) in 14 seasons as a starting QB.

5 NFL quarterbacks age 37 or older who have attempted a pass in Super Bowl history.

1 Of which -- John Elway in Super Bowls XXXII and XXXIII -- actually started and came on the winning side of the game. Manning turned 37 in March.

1,832 Rushing yards in 2012 for the Broncos, who possessed the 16th-ranked rushing attack in the NFL in terms of yards per game.

2,100 Per-season rushing-yards average for the Broncos over the previous 20 years -- a figure which is tops in the league.

30 110-plus catch seasons by players in NFL history.

1/6 Of that total has been accumulated by slot machine Wes Welker, the Broncos' prize free-agent addition this offseason, who has topped the mark in five of the past six seasons.

52 Sacks for the Broncos in 2012 -- a total which matched the St. Louis Rams for the most in the league.

31 Of those 52 sacks were notched by players -- most notably, of course, Von Miller (18.5) and Elvis Dumervil (11) -- who will not suit up for the Broncos for at least the first six games of the 2013 season.

363, 324 Passing yards allowed by the Broncos in their past two postseason games -- a 2011 divisional-round loss to the New England Patriots and a 2012 divisional-round defeat to the Ravens, respectively -- both of which rank among the eight highest air yardage totals surrendered in the franchise's 35-game playoff history.

1, 1 Combined number of sacks and interceptions, respectively, the Broncos recorded in those two games.

-1 The Broncos' turnover differential during the 2012 season -- the team's third straight campaign on the negative side of the ledger.

4 Teams among the past 50 Super Bowl participants who have finished the regular season with a negative turnover ratio. Only one, the 2007 New York Giants (minus-9), went on to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
