2012 Saskatchewanderer picked for video skills and world travel resume

REGINA - Jeff Stock has the "best summer job ever."

Stock, 22, of Maple Creek, is this year's Saskatchewanderer — he gets paid to drive a vehicle all over the Prairie province and blog and video his adventures.

The Ministry of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport, which says in its job description that it's the — quote — "best job ever — says it chose Stock based on his based on his resume, his video skills and his ability to market the province in a positive way.

Stock won an interview with the ministry through an online voting contest.

He's already blogged that he's excited to get started and has already picked up his vehicle.

Stock says he willl be in Vancouver this fall studying graphic design and he loves food, travelling and making videos.

"I have travelled all over the world, most recently through the United Kingdom, Germany and India, and yet I haven't seen nearly enough of my home province," Stock said. "I can't wait to see more of Saskatchewan and show others the true potential of our province."
