    2020 Company, LLC Wins $3.5-Million Contract from the National Science Foundation

    2020 Team to Provide Technical Engineering, Capital Planning and Investment Control in Support of NSF Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Services for the Division of Information Systems

    Falls Church, VA (Vocus) October 5, 2010

    2020 Company, LLC (2020) announced that it has been awarded a $3.5-million contract to provide information technology systems engineering and technical assistance (SETA) support services to the National Science Foundation (NSF) Office of Information Resources Management (OIRM), Division of Information Systems (DIS).

    The contract has a one-year base period and two one-year option periods.

    NSF stated one example of work to be performed under this contract is SETA support to help improve the availability, reliability, and scalability of NSF’s IT Infrastructure Services. NSF’s IT Infrastructure Services include technology hosting, monitoring, remedial response, and security and network management.

    “One of the key factors of this win was to show NSF that they are not just a client or us a vendor, but rather, together we will be building a partnership in support of the NSF mission,” said Haresh Bhungalia, co-founder of 2020. “The partnership model follows both the NSF and 2020 mission, and we are excited about this opportunity with NSF.”

    This will be 2020’s first contract with NSF.
