An official at the Civilian Hospital in Karachi, Nazir Abbasi, says 11 bodies were taken to the hospital. All were workers at the garment factory in the southern port city, where the blaze broke out.
Earlier Thursday a fire at a shoe factory in the eastern city of Lahore killed 21 people.
Abbasi said 30 people with burns and fractured limbs were also being treated in the hospital.
