42nd Annual Annie Awards – Complete Winners List

DreamWorks Animation’s highflying sequel How To Train Your Dragon 2 sailed away with the big prize tonight at the 42nd annual Annie Awards. Writer-director Dean DeBlois‘ film scored a leading six trophies, including Director and Best Animation Feature over the other four Oscar nominees in the category and snubbed multiple award winner The Lego Movie.

The top TV honor went to Fox’s The Simpsons, still going strong in its 26th season. Homer and the gang bagged their 13th win in the oft-renamed category but its first since the 2004 ceremony. Disney Channel’s Disney Mickey Mouse had the second-most wins of any title with five, and Disney Television Animation racked up eight trophies. Here is the complete list of winners.
