    50 Atlas Agents Earn the Distinguished Milton M. Hill Quality Award for Moving Services

    Atlas Van Lines presented 50 of its moving agents with the 2011 Milton M. Hill Quality Award last week at its annual convention in Marco Island, Fla. One of the moving industry’s most distinguished performance awards, it was established in honor of the late Milton M. Hill of Alexander’s Mobility Services, an agent of Atlas Van Lines, and has been awarded annually since 1996. Hill was known for excellent and innovative customer service that set many standards in the industry.

    Only Atlas’ finest performing agents earn this award for their total commitment to quality.     Agents who earn the award demonstrate a commitment to superior warehouse and hauling operations, as well as excellence in 12 areas that measure quality. The award recognizes agents who demonstrate excellence in the following areas:

    1. Superior warehouse rating—Recipients must earn high scores in surprise inspections that measure organization, security, risk management and overall impression.

    2. Hauling excellence—Agents qualify for this award based on customer service provided by their van operators and by meeting hauling revenue requirements.

    3. World-class commitment—Recipients are measured on 12 standards, including customer service, customer satisfaction, estimating accuracy, claims ratio and compliance with Atlas’ standards of excellence.
