HAVANA (Reuters) - Hurricane Ike raged through Cuba on Monday, blowing off roofs, toppling trees and flattening sugar cane fields like a giant lawn mower on a path toward U.S. oil fields in the Gulf of Mexico.

NEW YORK - The government's historic bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be good news to homebuyers. But for homeowners already behind on their mortgage payments, or who owe more than their homes are now worth, the plan offers little in the way of extra relief.
