DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) -- AAA Michigan says gasoline prices have fallen about 3 cents during the past week to a statewide average of about $3.86 per gallon.
The auto club says Tuesday the average is about 15 cents per gallon more than last year at this time.
Of the cities it surveys, AAA Michigan says the cheapest price for self-serve unleaded fuel is in the Traverse City area, where it's about $3.74 a gallon. The highest average is in the Marquette area at about $3.92.
Dearborn-based AAA Michigan surveys 2,800 Michigan gas stations daily.
The auto club's weekly Fuel Gauge report typically is released on Mondays, but was delayed a day this week by the Memorial Day holiday.
