Bowery Boogie took a trip out of the Arthur Kill Ship Graveyard in Staten Island, and the whole thing sounds like something out of Narnia. ("Massive jungle-like reeds, well over six feet high, rustle lightly in the afternoon breeze. The dank tang of low tide is thick...) It doesn't quite look like Narnia, but it does like a like a ship graveyard, which is also very cool. The history of the graveyard is also pretty interesting — there were once 400 abandoned ships there, but by the 1990s only around 200 remained and the others were dismantled and their parts recycled. Now there are "at least 100," according to Bowery Boogie.
