ABC Family Sets Midseason Premiere Dates for Pretty Little Liars, Chasing Life, and More

ABC Family is ringing in the new year with new half-seasons of its most popular shows.

Pretty Little Liars will return for the second half of Season 5—in which will the girls will be dealing with the fallout from that major death in the summer finale—on Tuesday, January 6 at 8pm. That'll be followed at 9pm by the Season 4 premiere of Switched at Birth, which is moving from Mondays to Tuesdays.

Half-hour comedies Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy will begin their fourth seasons on Wednesday, January 14 at 8pm and 8:30pm, respectively.

Finally, on Monday, January 19, The Fosters will kick off the second half of Season 2 at 8pm, followed by the Season 1B premiere of Chasing Life.

All six series will also air special holiday episodes in December, though it's not quite clear whether the specials will resolve outstanding cliffhangers (like that whopper of a voicemail in Chasing Life's summer finale, for example), or whether they'll stall until the shows' respective midseason debuts.
