ABC News: U.S. military drone strike believed to have killed 'Jihadi John'

US officials tell ABC News that US military launched a drone strike earlier today, targeting "Jihadi John," the masked Islamic State terrorist who beheaded a number of western hostages in Syria - including journalists James Foley and Stephen Sotloff and aid worker, Peter Kassig. It's understood the US is still working to determine whether the strike actually killed the British militant whose real name is Mohammed Emwazi. Officials tell ABC the strike took place in the Syrian city of Raqqa, the Islamic State's de facto capital.
