ABC Orders Drama Pilot From ‘Scandal’ & ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Producer
ABC has ordered drama pilot “Flesh and Blood,” from exec producer and writer Jenna Bans.
The series will follow the return of a local politician’s son who was presumed dead, after disappearing more than a decade earlier. While the mysterious young man is welcomed back to his family and community, his presumed murderer and neighbor is released from prison, and the cop responsible is forced to re-examine the case from many years ago.
Bans — whose credits include “Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice” — will exec produce with Mandeville Television’s David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Laurie Zaks.
ABC Studios will produce.
