StarCast selects new actors to present to industry professionals every two weeks, thus providing a continuous source of undiscovered talent. Casting directors compare actors in the same demographics performing the same scenes, and select up to four best performances from each of the 24 demographic categories.

These best performers are posted to the StarCast site and shared with a wide network of casting directors, agents, managers, producers and other industry professionals. Actors who fall short of professional standards are not posted on the site, but given written feedback from casting directors so they may improve.
