    Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach is thrilled to announce the opening of Piazzetta, a modern outdoor Italian marketplace concept which will transport guests to an Italian town square set South Florida Riviera amidst the breathtaking ocean views of the Atlantic. The Italian inspired market in Miami Beach, Florida offers light dining options, bottled wines, olive oils, sauces, oven-baked pizzas, crostinis, paninis, salads, meats, teas and a coffee corner boasting 21 specialty coffees in a relaxed and inviting setting. Guests and residents are invited to enjoy the luxurious surroundings of Aaria restaurant’s outdoor and indoor spaces while savoring in an assortment of Piazzetta’s signature dining options.

    The Piazzetta Italian market atmosphere evokes an all-day ocean view dining experience in Miami Beach, Florida in a casual setting with an inspiration of an overall feeling of comfort and luxury. The spacious outdoor seating overlooking the Atlantic Ocean allows one to celebrate delicious dining options and breathtaking scenery simultaneously. The indoor table and lounge seating at this Italian restaurant offers a warm and relaxing setting and features new wood flooring, Calacatta Gold marble dining tables including a beautiful ten person communal table. Additionally, a built in omelet station as well as a sushi bar will be unveiled. The Piazzetta will also feature two display counters, one with gelato and the other featuring a dual display offering artisan cheeses and antipasti garden. The display counters will be dressed in a custom wood frame with golden lighting marble counter tops which will highlight daily fresh pastries and other popular market items to enjoy in the elegant lounge area or on the alfresco veranda with an ocean view.

    Curated by Acqualina’s new Executive Chef Christopher Blum, daily gourmet dining specials are listed on a chalk menu board adorned with pendant lights, along with the featured wine selection and house specialties. Exquisite dining options include entrees such as the Herb Roasted Chicken ($18) a Chicken Cutlet and thigh, Herb Crusted, Rosemary Potatoes, Red Wine Barolo Reduction, 12oz. Rib Eye ($28) Oven Roasted with Herbs served with Au Jus, Whole Fish of the Day ($27), and Gnocchi Sorrento ($14) Fresh Tomato, Buffalo Mozzarella, Basil. A selection of grab and go items are also offered to guests and residents to relish in the privacy of their room or apartment. Made to order gift baskets, trays and platters are also available.

    Opening in January 2012, the Piazzetta Italian marketplace at Acqualina in Miami Beach, Florida will be open to the public 11am-11pm, seven days a week.
