Squirrels may not be as viral as cats, or as fluffy as dogs, but they've got their own special charm.

Imgur user fsuwonder took in a tiny wild squirrel, which she named Daisy, five months ago. The user first found the squirrel after it fell from its nest.

"Squirrel nests are at least 20 feet in the air so if babies fall from their nests, the mom basically considers it a loss," she wrote on imgur.

Since then, fsuwonder has carefully nursed the squirrel back to health. Fsuwonder's mother is a vet.

"I've been raising squirrels since I was old enough to hold a squirrel," the user wrote.

While fsuwonder has since released the squirrel back into the wild, the squirrel keeps coming back for hugs and back scratches.

Sure, squirrels might have a bad rep. But give them love and they'll treat you with respect (Most of them.)
