I have been single fo many years and I am sad to say that if I had no scrupples I would have one of the most active sex life of anyone I know. A surpising amount of married women have outright offered to have an affair with me on too many occations. It is difficult to mantain a working relationship with them after they do because I have in the back of my mind the thought that if they were willing to cheat on their spouse then what else would they do. To me the a trustworthy woman is sexy.

Since when did being morally opposed to cheating get defined as being a "creaky old traditionalist?" It has always been funny to me how people justify or portray these sorts of feelings as anything but a failure of self control. I love Ayn Rand fans when they rear their ugly head, cheating is ALWAYS justifiable for them. They are what is wrong with the world, they are willing to put the people around them through mountains of crap just like every other human. Then when it comes time to repay their loved ones for the emotional damage caused, suddenly "the happiness of others isn't their concern." At the end of day all of the philosophies that justify and promote greed and selfishness are based pure stupidity and illogical assumptions.

Just another unacceptable way of life being made light of. I don't get that. It basically makes your word, and as a result you yourself, worthless on any level of trust. No need to touch on the religious aspect, if that isn't enough then you won't get the sin of it at all.

monogamy preserves the sanctity of the family. It benefits both parties, the children and society. Has nothing to do with old conservative values. It also sure helps out when deciding who gets to claim the kid on the tax return

The people in the media feed of excess, sensationalism, and pandering to the most base elements. Of course they glorify adultery. It's in their best interest to do so. You can't built new Rome in a day, and you surely can't build it in a location that has a different value system without systematically dismantling that value system one step at a time.
