KABUL (Reuters) - The Afghan government has sent a peace delegation to Pakistan for negotiations with the Taliban, the president's office said in a statement on Twitter on Tuesday. The meeting could be a step towards starting a formal peace process with the insurgent group that was ousted from power by a U.S. led invasion in 2001.
