    ahm recognised for Best Private Health Insurance Packages by smartinvestor magazine

    ahm Health Insurance has been rated by the Australian Financial Review’s smartinvestor Magazine as having some of the best private health insurance packages in Australia.

    ahm Health Insurance has been rated by the Australian Financial Review’s smartinvestor Magazine as having some of the best private health insurance packages in Australia.

    Products recognised in smartinvestor Magazine’s July edition were ahm’s combined hospital and extra packages and were chosen for their competitive premiums and high levels of coverage with very few exclusions.

    Each package was analysed to see which best met the needs of a young and single person, a family with children and a established couple with the top five in each state receiving recognition.

    ahm Health Insurance received an impressive seven “Best” mentions across Australia.

    In the magazine’s ‘Young and Singles’ category, ahm’s ‘Essential Hospital Level 5 + Lifestyle Extras’ package was in the top three in New South Wales/ACT, South Australia, Tasmania & Victoria.


    In the ‘Growing Family’ category, ahm’s “Top Hospital 5 + Family Extras’ was in the top three for Victoria, while in the ‘Older Couple’ category, their ‘Essential Hospital Level 5 + Family Extras’ was also in the top three in Queensland and Tasmania.

    According to Executive General Manager Dean Tillotson, since the smartinvestor Magazine assessment was undertaken, ahm has removed all 2 & 6 month waiting periods on all Extras covers.

    This means ahm Health Insurance members no longer have to wait to claim on things like routine dental, physiotherapy, chiropractic, optical and remedial massage.
