VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Dec 27, 2013) - Hon. Mayor Dr. Baftjar Zeqaj of Fier City and County, Albania has approved and signed as a witness of the memorandum of understanding with Environmental Control of Carbon Dioxide Corporation (ECCO2 Corp), the Eastern European American Chamber of Commerce and Concille Mondial de Congres Diplomatiques des Aumoniers pour la Paix Universelle des Droits Humains et Juridiques (CMOCDAPUNDHJ), the Diplomatic Mission for Peace and Prosperity (DMPP), and Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Studies, a group of non-governmental organisations and private sectors who support Post-2015 Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations. These organisations collectively working together as the Albania New Millennium Civil Society Organisation Programme (ANMP) to support education, social development, possibilities of employment, environment, agriculture, climate change, coastal and cultural tourism, trading commerce from local and foreign investors and anti-corruption programmes on international drugs and crime.

ANMP was established to support of the eight focal points of the Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations and humanitarians causes recognised by the European commission. The programme will provide as much as EUR35 million in loan guarantees and grants from private sponsors of the Global Banking Community, Ezybonds Asia and ECCO2 Global Partners to support local public sectors and NGOs to create local job opportunities and increase gross domestic product by establishing an International Free Trade Zone and entrepot for international trading and research development projects on coastal and cultural tourism, agriculture goods, as cannabis for medical and industrial purposes, and anti-corruptions programmes to decrease drugs and crimes in Albania.

As a NGO partner to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, ECCO2 Corp spokesperson tells the press that the programme should set an epitome for Eastern European nations, which consist of equal opportunity trading solutions for foreign and domestic private sectors for import goods and development of crime prevention programs on illegal drug trafficking and smuggling that are similar to those already active under local and federal regulations within the United States and Canada.

Albania has been a member of the World Trade Organisation since 2000 and benefits from EU autonomous trade preferences (until December, 31 2015), allowing nearly all exports to enter the EU without customs duties or limits on quantities. The Western baulkan nation is also a member of Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) and is one of the Western baulkan nations that is a potential candidate for EU membership.
