    Alec Baldwin Says He Found Love After He Gave Up, Would 'Be Heaven' To Have More Kids

    Alec Baldwin would love to expand his family.

    While discussing his happiness with girlfriend Hilaria Thomas on "Piers Morgan Tonight" on Wednesday, the British host asked the "30 Rock" star if he'd like to have more children.

    "Have I thought about having more kids? Oh sure, that would be great, that would be heaven, that would be fantastic," Alec told Piers, who two months ago welcomed a new daughter to his own British brood.

    Alec then went on to make a joke about his own potential plans to have more children later in life. (His daughter Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger, is now 16.)

    "As my friend said to me, 'When you have children, typically in a second marriage, when you're older and you get married again to a woman who would have children, you must always remember that you make sure [the children] attend a college where the commencement ceremonies are held in a facility with a wheelchair accessible ramp,'" Alec added tongue-in-cheek.

    The actor also addressed dating a younger woman - Hilaria, a yoga instructor, is 27, while he is 53.

    Alec revealed he actually sought advice from Tony Bennett, who is married to a much younger woman by several decades, wife Susan Crow.

    "I said to Tony, 'I'm dating a woman who is... younger than I am -- she's a lot younger than I am -- and I sometimes think about that and I know, Tony, you're with Susan and you're quite a bit older than her,'" Alec recounted. "And he looked at me and he goes, 'Yeah, people say that to me all the time and I say to them, 'Consider the alternative.'"

    The "30 Rock" star said he is "very, very happy" in his relationship and admitted his love actually fit in with an old saying - love will find you when you stop looking.

    "It is true what people always say, and it's tough to make your way to that place, I guess, where you stop looking," Alec said. "I was married and I was with somebody for 10 years and then after I got divorced, I dated people and I had one girlfriend for several years... and right before I met Hilaria... I did lay in my bed and say, 'This is it. I'm gonna be alone for the rest of my life, I'm gonna die alone in this apartment in this bed, I'll have my friends, I'll have Twitter, I'll have Words with Friends, I'll have my New Yorker subscription... I'll have my quiet, unhappy life, and then right when I put it all on the shelf, and it was over... I walked into a restaurant... and I met this woman who is probably one of the greatest people I've ever met in my life."

      A grown man that has a hissy fit like little girl on an airplane over a dumb game is real father material. Apparently she has never heard the old saying, "heed the 1st wife warning." His ego is well documented. He does not play well with other children.

      I was hardly able to watch him on CNN last night. The worst thing about him is that he actually takes himself and the smack he talks seriously. He is a decent actor, so I guess that is why he was able to keep a straight face for the entire show.

      This overloaded ego even talked about wanting to be president when he was younger! I do not understand how his girl friend is able to put up with him for a second.

      Considering he is a fat and ugly old man, this conclusion is laughable. She's too pretty and too good for a jerk like Baldwin. He can't keep up anymore. Time to put him out to pasture.

      He looks too old for her. He needs to get a grip on reality. Is she going to help him plug ear and nose hairs in the morning. Is she going to help to remind him to take his regiment of "fifty year old pills". Prostrate, high blood pressure, cholesteral...etc. He should find a nice looking older woman....demi, locklear, shelly long....etc.....and enjoy their company at dinner, shows, occasional old people sex. He's going to be paying child support in five years for a screwed up fatherless baby.

        I'm not sure there are many nice looking older women who live in the US. Now if you are talking Europe that is a different story. I think European women take a little bit more pride in their physical appearance.

      Why would you have children with more than one person? Seems like it would complicate things. Just marry (and stay married to) the right person in the first place, and have children with them. That way, your children won't have to go back and forth from parent to parent, and they would all stay in the same house with both parents.
