As Alesha celebrates her 37th birthday today, we’re celebrating with her best behind-the-scenes pics.

It all looks like sweetness and light when the cameras are rolling on chat shows, but what about when the official lenses switch off? Well, judging by this backstage shot, it’s all just as lovey dovey then too.
Alesha shared a pic from behind-the-scenes at her appearance on ‘Alan Carr Chatty Man’ in September 2015, with the two puckering up for a selfie.

You know that expression, it takes a village to raise a child? Well that’s also true of shooting a music video.
Alesha gave us a glimpse behind-the-scenes at her ‘Tallest Girl’ video shoot, and we got to see how many people are part of her team. From stylists and make-up artists to hairstylists, it takes a village to create those uh-may-zing styles Alesha pulls off in her music videos. Loving that look, BTW.

OK so hands up who’s majorly jealous of anyone who got to go to Friends Fest *hands shoot up*
Alesha scored tickets to Comedy Central’s sold out Friends Festival in East London last month, and got to hang out in a reconstruction of Monica’s apartment. She also sat in Monica’s chair as she explored ‘behind-the-scenes’ of the show. Well. Jel.

We get to see Alesha performing live on stage and on TV shows, but those mega performances don’t just materialise without any preparation. There are long hours of rehearsals in less glamorous settings beforehand, like in this pic she shared in September 2015.
Those trailing wires look like a trip hazard to me.
