Allie MacDonald Joins Monica Potter Pilot, Mouzam Makkar In ‘Unveiled’
Allie MacDonald (House At The End Of The Street) has
booked a series regular role in NBC’s multi-camera comedy pilot starring Parenthood alumna Monica Potter. The project, from creators Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer, Warner Bros. TV and Ellen DeGeneres’ studio-based A Very Good Production, is loosely based on Potter’s life and stars the actress as Bridget, a woman who juggles her busy family life as well as her three ex-husbands — which proves to be difficult when she starts dating again. MacDonald, repped by Don Buchwald & Associates, Sanders Armstrong Caserta and Patterson Talent Management, will play Heather, girlfriend to Jason (Eddie Cibrian). Jealous of the relationship Jason still has with ex-wife Bridget, Heather is not above spying on Bridget’s house when Jason is there and will often pop up unannounced and uninvited. Also cast in a regular role is Cristine Prosperi (DeGrassi: The Next Generation). Prosperi, repped by Industry Entertainment and Norbert Abrams in Toronto, will play Jessica, Bridget and Jason’s daughter.
Mouzam Makkar has booked a series regular role in Unveiled, NBC’s supernatural/spiritual drama pilot from Mark Burnett and Roma Downey. Written by John Sakmar & Kerry Lenhart, Unveiled follows an ensemble of flawed guardian angels who intervene in the lives of those who find themselves facing crisis in an attempt to restore their faith and, often, save their lives.
Makkar, repped by Principato Young and Gray Talent Group, will play Gabrielle Horne, a strong and smart guardian angel dedicated to helping people by way of calm guidance. Makkar recently wrapped a recurring role on The Following.
