    Allied Van Lines Launches Facebook Fall Photo Contest

    Fans encouraged to submit photos until October 10th to win $1000 cash prize

    Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 21, 2011

    Allied Van Lines, Inc., one of the world’s largest moving companies announced the launch of a Facebook Fan photo contest that will award $1,000 cash to the fan who submits the most colorful photo that represents the upcoming Fall season.

    The competition on Facebook called the “Allied Fall Photo Contest,” allows any Facebook fan to post their best fall photo that includes a person and the color orange somewhere in the picture between now and September 30th. Once posted, all fanpage fans will be able to vote for their favorite photo or photos once a day. The top three photos vote getters will be rewarded with the following prizes: $1,000 cash grand prize, a $250 Restaurant.com Gift Certificate second place prize and a $100 Restaurant.com Gift Certificate third place prize.

    “Fall is the start of great traditions and memories as the colors start to turn to the familiar orange hue,” said Bill Lyon, General Manager of Allied Van Lines. “This promotion is out to celebrate and share those great memories with each other and who better to be a part of it than a company that is proud to have orange as part of its corporate colors.”

    Voting takes place solely on Facebook between September 20, 2011 and 11:59 EST on October 10th. Consumers must become a fan of the Allied Van Lines Facebook page in order to submit a photo and to vote. Individuals with a valid Facebook account can vote once a day on their favorite photo or photos throughout the campaign. Winners will be announced by October 12, 2011.
