'The Amazing Race' wins Emmy Award again

LOS ANGELES (AP) — "The Amazing Race" wins the Emmy Award for best reality series and Tom Bergeron of "Dancing With the Stars" wins the award for best host of a reality series.

"The Amazing Race" should someday ask to have the award named for itself. The CBS around-the-world chase competition won for the ninth time in 10 nominations for the award.

Bergeron beat sentimental favorite Betty White, who was nominated for her hidden camera show featuring senior citizens. Jeff Probst of "Survivor" had won the award for best reality show host since it was established in 2008 but was not nominated this year.

The 64th Primetime Emmys are airing live Sunday from the Nokia Theatre L.A., with Jimmy Kimmel as host.
