Amazon gives you yet another reason to join Prime Now

If you’re not an Amazon Prime subscriber yet, in spite of all the perks Amazon’s service has to offer, then there’s one more thing you need to check out. The retailer has launched a dedicated site for its Prime Now same-day delivery service called Primenow.com that is available both on desktop and on mobile. The service was available exclusively as a mobile app for almost a year and a half since launch.

In other words, you’ll be able to go on mobile shopping sprees no matter where you are, while knowing that your precious orders will be delivered in up to two hours from the moment you’ve placed them.

Prime Now is free if you’re happy with the two-hour shipping window, and it costs $7.99 per delivery if you need a certain item delivered to your home within the hour. Naturally, Prime Now only works if your current location is covered by the service, so make sure you check whether your ZIP code qualifies for fast delivery. You can do so on the home page of Amazon’s new website, where you can also check supported cities.

Needless to say, the delivery option is also available on Amazon’s main site, so you don’t have to visit the new site to get it.

“We have expanded the service rapidly over the last year to new cities and customers told us that they would want the option to shop on a browser as well as mobile,” Prime Now chief Stephenie Landry said in a statement to Re/code.

Prime Now covers various products, including health, beauty and household items and requires a Prime subscription.
