Amber West To Star In Jerrod Carmichael NBC Comedy Pilot

Amber West (form. Stevens) has been cast as the female lead opposite Jerrod Carmichael in Go Jerrod Go, NBC’s multi-camera comedy pilot written by Carmichael and Nick Stoller. Described as a irreverent multi-camera comedy inspired by Carmichael’s stand-up and his relationships with his girlfriend and family, the project follows a young couple, Jerrod (Carmichael) and Maxine (West), who decide to move in together but when it comes time to tell Jerrod’s parents, Jerrod finds every reason in the world to hold off on breaking the news to his mom and dad.

Stoller is executive producing with Carmichael and Ravi Nandan. Scott Ellis, who helmed Carmichael’s pilot presentation last season, is directing for Universal TV.

West, repped by UTA, Red Baron Management and Felker Toczek, recently co-starred in 22 Jump Street.
