    AMS Imaging and OPEX Announce Partnership

    AMS Imaging and OPEX Partner to Deliver State-of-the Art Mailroom Automation Solutions.

    AMS Imaging announced today that it has entered into a reseller agreement to resell products from OPEX Corporation, a recognized global leader in high-speed automation and document scanning equipment. AMS Imaging is New England’s leading provider of document management solutions and production scanning services. The company will now resell the OPEX image capture platform as part of their solutions for streamlining the complete document management process. The aim is to help customers greatly reduce the time and labor associated with processing documents of any type.

    Opening and prepping documents by hand is inefficient. Manually key-entering data is costly. Routing paper and searching for misplaced documents is labor intensive. Together, OPEX and AMS Imaging tackle all of these issues. The OPEX AS7200i, AS7200t, and DS2200 scanners offer a process in which one operator can remove documents from envelopes and scan them in a single pass. This greatly reduces document preparation time when converting paper documents to electronic images.

    Scanned images from the OPEX devices pass directly into an AMS Imaging Solution such as Kofax Capture or Hyland OnBase. The combined OPEX and AMS Imaging solution delivers the most efficient workflow and provides instant visibility, error reduction, and improved customer response.
