Angela Meets Marvel 1602 for the Newest SECRET WARS Announcement

Another SECRET WARS book is coming our way as Odinson's sister, Angela, is set in the world of Neil Gaiman's 1602. Announced via Buzzfeed, writers Marguerite Bennett and Kieron Gillen join forces for 1602: WITCH HUNTER ANGELA.

Stephanie Hans will be doing the art, so really, fans of the ANGELA: ASGARD'S ASSASSIN should be pretty pumped, since Hans did the painted five-pagers in the first arc of that series. The book will focus on both Angela and Sera and in addition to the main story, will also feature fiver-pagers drawn by different artists.

Bennett goes on to say there will be some familiar 1602 characters in this book, and the creative team wants to make this series their own. They didn't want to retread this story. In addition, readers will be treated to 1602 versions of Bucky Barnes and Guardians of the Galaxy.
