Angels provide first look at new food offerings for upcoming ’24 season

The Los Angeles Angels are preparing for Opening Day of the 2024 MLB season, and on Tuesday, the team gave KTLA’s Orange County Bureau Chief Chip Yost an exclusive look at the new food offerings fans can expect at Angel Stadium.

Executive Chef Dennis Radcliffe of Legends Hospitality highlighted the “walk-off waffle stand” for those with a sweet tooth.

“We got strawberry diplomat cream, Chantilly cream, strawberry syrup, fresh strawberries, and we also have a s’mores version with chocolate ganache, marshmallow fluff and a little bit of graham cracker crumble,” Radcliffe said.

There’s also a revamped Diamond Club and buffet area, he said.

Sandwiches from Brewery X were also spotlighted during media day.

“Brewery X, which is in right field on the club level, and it’s open to the public,” Radcliffe said. “We have a chop cheese sandwich; so we griddle ground chuck, some American cheese, secret sauce, lettuce, tomatoes on an ‘OC baking bun,’ which is our local bakery that we utilize here at the stadium.”

For those with a more refined palette, there are also some high-end options.

“If you get the buffet, you can upgrade your entree and you can get a 16-ounce smoked prime rib,” Radcliffe said.

Ultimately, though, the stadium’s executive chef says baseball fans should try everything they can.

“We’re more than just the helmet nachos.”
