The newest trailer for Angry Birds Star Wars gives us a better sense of the gameplay. Each of the major characters from Star Wars Episodes IV through VI are articulated as birds, all with their own unique powers.

From the trailer, we learn that the yellow Han Solo bird has a blaster to knock down targets, and the red Luke Skywalker bird can use his lightsaber in the same way. We also see the hooded Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi using the Force to knock down buildings, and the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO can use electrical bursts as their attacks. The most comical bird, a hairy, rotund interpretation of Chewbacca, can use his bulk to break more stuff.

Angry Birds Star Wars also looks like it has settings as varied as the movies. There are pig space stations orbiting planets, as well as ice-covered buildings that resemble the snowy planet of Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back.

Angry Birds Star Wars will be released Thursday, Nov. 8, on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Mac, Kindle Fire, PC, and Windows 8.
