Anna Gunn Joins ‘Criminal Minds’ Spinoff
Breaking Bad alumna Anna Gunn is set as the female lead opposite Gary Sinise in CBS’ Criminal Minds planted spinoff. The proposed spinoff will air as an episode of the mothership series this season written by Criminal Minds executive producer/showrunner Erica Messer.
The spinoff follows FBI agents helping American citizens who find themselves in trouble abroad, with Sinise playing their boss, Jack Garrett. Gunn will play Ally Lambert, an international law expert and talented linguist. She’s smart, capable and an indispensable part of the team that makes sure bad guys worldwide don’t slip through the murky waters of international law.
Gunn, repped by ICM Partners and Christian Donatelli at MGMT Entertainment, won two Emmys for her role as Skyler White on AMC’s Breaking Bad. She most recently starred on the Fox limited series Gracepoint.
