    Hollywood has a new hot couple, and the age difference between the two is causing quite a stir. "90210" star AnnaLynne McCord is now dating Prison Break actor Dominic Purcell, according to People Magazine. With an 18-year age difference between the two, what are the odds that the couple will last? There have been many May-December romances in Hollywood, and the outcomes have been mixed. Which celebrity couples have made it, and which ended as quickly as they began?

    Scarlet Johansson and Sean Penn

    The relationship between Scarlet Johansson and Sean Penn lasted only four months, ending just as quickly as it began. Johansson apparently turned off the actor by constantly pushing her way into conversations and photos with Penn, according to the Daily Mail. She even plopped herself down in between her then-boyfriend and Robert De Niro at an event. It appears that the relationship between the two was pursued by Johansson, and was most likely just a way to gain some publicity.

    Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

    The celebrity mega-couple known as "Brangelina" has been together since 2005. Pitt is Jolie's senior by 12 years, though you wouldn't know it to look at them together. The two were recently rumored to be planning a summer wedding, but Jolie set the record straight, saying that they would only change their minds about marriage if their kids asked them to, reports People. Married or not, it looks like the two will be together for a long time.

    Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart

    With 22 years between them, people were quite surprised when Ford began dating Flockhart nearly nine years ago. The couple kept a low profile, managing to keep their relationship out of the papers during their courtship. The two finally married last year while Ford was filming this summer's blockbuster "Cowboys and Aliens." Their wedding was presided over by New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, according to ABC News. Flockhart and Ford have a 10-year-old adopted child together.

    Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris

    Hugh Hefner may be the king of May-December romances, but his last love interest left him with a broken heart. His engagement to Crystal Harris, who is 60 years younger than Hef, called off the nuptials just days before the wedding was to take place. Both sides seem to be taking it well; Harris got to keep her stunning engagement ring, and Hefner already has a new girlfriend, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

    It is too early to tell what the future holds for AnnaLynne McCord and Dominic Purcell, They would be wise to look at the other celebrity couples with large age differences and try to learn from their respective mistakes and successes. Who knows, maybe by this time next year, they will be hearing wedding bells.
