"I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn't realize it until I saw all the photographers' flashes," she reportedly told Vanity Fair writer Ingrid Sischy, according to the New York Daily News.

"It was devastating," the 30 year-old actress continued. "They saw everything."

Adding, "I might as well have lifted up my skirt for them."

She also spoke about the incident on the "Today" show on Wednesday.

"It was obviously an unfortunate incident," she said. "It kind of made me sad on two accounts. One was that I was very sad that we live in an age when someone takes a picture of another person in a vulnerable moment and rather than delete it, and do the decent thing, sells it. And I'm sorry that we live in a culture that commodifies sexuality of unwilling participants, which brings us back to 'Les Mis,' that's what my character is, she is someone who is forced to sell sex to benefit her child because she has nothing and there's no social safety net."

Despite the mishap, Anne stunned on the red carpet and spoke to Access Hollywood about people's early reactions to her movie musical, which is generating major award show buzz.

"It's been unbelievable. Audiences have been cheering and applauding, " she told Access at Monday's premiere "The first time I saw the film it was a private screening, so no one applauded, so I was shocked during [a recent] screening, people just started cheering after each number. I think people just really excited to see it and its meeting their expectations and then surpassing them. It's just really exciting."
