A$AP Ferg on Why He Isn't "Hyped" on Any Streetwear Brands

A$AP Ferg talks the state of streetwear and fashion and details his upcoming fashion and music projects.

Hypebeast just released a new interview with A$AP Ferg where he talks about his current views on music, fashion, and art. The three are not distinct in his mind, as he tells Hypebeast: "Man, when you say 'fashion,' I think about art in a whole. I can’t just wrap my head around fashion without speaking about art because, I mean, what’s new under the sun?"

Ferg takes some time to talk about how he's "not really hyped on any street brands," and is "just looking for the next best thing to come," but he does give his props to Pigalle and Palace. He says fashion has taken a negative turn in the past few years, and "Now it’s about your money, and how much money you got — now those people fucked fashion up."

The Trap Lord is fresh off a collaboration with PacSun and Young & Reckless, and is focusing his energy on his next move in fashion, as well as helping out his community in New York. Read the interview here and see what Ferg has in store for the near future.
