The app wasn’t designed specifically to help you find Apple Pay locations, of course, as it’s supposed to be used primarily to help you find locations where MasterCard is accepted. However, it also lets you break down MasterCard locations by different types and one of them includes “merchant locations worldwide where cardholders can make contactless payments using their PayPass enabled MasterCard.”

Apple Pay become available to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users for the first time with the release of iOS 8.1 on Monday. The service takes advantage of the new phones’ NFC wireless technology and their Touch ID fingerprint scanners to let you authorize payments with credit card information stored securely on credit card providers’ servers.

The app already supports credit cards from MasterCard, Visa and American Express at launch and is also being supported by the six largest American banks. Apple has also worked out deals to get Apple Pay supported at more than 220,000 retail outlets at its launch.

To download the MasterCard nearby app for free onto your iPhone be sure to check it out in the App Store by clicking the source link below.
