Apple wants its iPhone personal assistant Siri to get a lot better at sports.

To make that happen, the tech giant has hired engineers to work on the software and help it to answer a user’s questions about all things sports, according to VentureBeat.

There’s a job posting on LinkedIn for the position, which touts that its looking for a "Siri Software Engineer -- Sports.” The person will work at Apple’s Cupertino, Calif. headquarters.

“The Siri team is looking for someone with a combination of strong technical skills, a desire to build exceptional customer features and a deep love of sports,” according to the posting. “We're look for the right person who can collaborate with other engineers in several technical areas to help build Siri’s knowledge of all things sports related.”

It continues, “You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, have a thirst for new technology and believe that managing your Fantasy Football team is as important as managing your 401(k).”

And what else? The candidate needs to have an "encyclopedic knowledge of sports -- and wish that Siri did as well.”
