Apple shines; Unilever upgraded; American Airlines soars

Unilever 

A bullish call on Wall Street gave Unilever (UN) a lift. The stock was upgraded to a "hold" rating from "underperform" at Jefferies. Its price target was also raised. The firm said so far this year - the global consumer goods company is outperforming its rivals including Procter & Gamble (PG) and Kimberly Clark (KMB).

Apple 

Apple (AAPL) may end the week on a positive note. The stock looked to break its losing streak after falling for five straight sessions. Shares of the iPhone maker fell on worries the bear market in China could affect consumer demand.

American Airlines 

American Airlines (AAL) stock moved higher. The carrier reported both capacity and traffic rose in June, on a year-over-year basis. Shares of American Airlines, though have tumbled 26% this year, at Thursday's closing price.
