    Art of Stepping Expands Professional Step Team to Florida

    The Florida team will host its first workshop at the University of South Florida in Tampa

    The Art of Stepping is proud to announce the expansion of its professional step team to Florida. The newly established step team will host its launch event, a step workshop, hosted by Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.

    With professional step teams in California, New York, Illinois, and New Jersey, AOS’ recent expansion to Florida brings its national membership to 52 professional steppers, three-times its membership since launching its first professional step team in 2009.

    The Art of Stepping’s Florida step team will host its first event, a step workshop, at the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida, presented by Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., on Thursday, February 23 at 7:00 p.m. in Rec 107. The step workshop will focus on teaching the basic fundamentals to the art of stepping utilizing its copyrighted ‘REMO System’, that teaches step via mathematical formulas.

    “Our recent expansion to Florida confirms that our artistry is vastly reaching the masses,” said Jessica Saul, AOS Founder. “With a professional team in five states, we are confident that we are paving the way for new steppers! Our Florida members are excited to host their first workshop and to work towards putting together their annual exhibitions, participate in local and national competitions, and work to further expand our program,” said Saul.
