The plot of the return of "Two and a Half Men" has been shrouded under a cloak of secrecy and it has even affected Demi Moore, wife of newcomer to the show, Ashton Kutcher.
"Everybody has to sign these confidentiality agreements. My wife had to sign one," Ashton told Conan O'Brien on Thursday's "Conan" show on TBS. "It's really intense over there."
Ashton, who plays internet billionaire Walter Schmidt when "Two and a Half Men" returns on Monday at 9 PM on CBS, said the secrecy affected even the first few live taping audiences.
"The first two audiences were there just kind of sussing it out. Like, 'Oh, what do we think about this guy?'" the actor said, noting that things have started to change. "Now, my people are starting to show up, which makes me feel really good.
"There's this weird skepticism, because we haven't been able to say much about what the show [is] about," he added.
Much has been made about Ashton's massive trailer on the Warner Bros. lot where "Two and a Half Men" is filmed, and the actor revealed he is the one behind his two-story, on-set home.
"It was like this little trailer [I was given] and I have a business that I run in the day when I'm not shooting stuff," he said of why he secured the rolling compartment.
And it could come in handy for more than just quiet time off the set.
"If I ever have a fight with Demi, I'm staying in the trailer," Ashton laughed.
