With Christmas less than two weeks away, astronauts aboard the International Space Station are getting into the holiday spirit.

Terry Virts, a 47-year-old astronaut from Baltimore, Md., tweeted a photo from the "Astronaut Office Christmas party" on Friday, replete with a Santa, an astronaut in an elf's cap, and a Christmas tree.

Last week, Virts tweeted several stunning images of Earth, including the aurora borealis, a bird's-eye view of city lights at night, and a video of Typhoon Hagupit over the Philippines.

Virts, who piloted the space shuttle Endeavour during a 13-day mission in 2010, is scheduled to return to Earth in May.
