  • ML Layton/WireImage/Getty ImagesStevie Nicks has apologized for her remarks about strangling Nicki Minaj had she been in Mariah Carey's shoes during their taped altercation last week

"American Idol" judge Carey seems to have taken the high road in her much-hyped "feud" with fellow new judge Minaj. The tiff involved Minaj's cursing at Carey and, according to Carey, threatening her.

During a recent promotional interview, Nicks said that had she been in a similar situation, she would have responded with violence.

Speaking to The Daily while promoting her new documentary, "In Your Dreams," Stevie Nicks said, "How dare this little girl. … If I had been Mariah, I would have walked over to Nicki and strangled her to death right there."

Nicks, 64, who got rave reviews as a mentor on "American Idol" last season, added, "I would have killed her in front of all those people and had to go to jail for it."

Nicks today issued a statement saying she regrets her remarks.

"I want to apologize for my

  • (Photo Credit: Credit: Andrew H. Walker/Getty Images)Hulk Hogan's sex tape story is getting creepier by the day. On "The Howard Stern Show" today, the WWE icon and former reality TV star seemed to confirm that the woman in his newly leaked sex tape is Heather Clem, the ex-wife of radio host Bubba the Love Sponge, who's also Hogan's friend.

Hogan (real name: Terry Bollea) told Stern he had talked with his pal about having sex with Clem for years, despite the fact that he was still married to his first wife, Linda Hogan.

"I considered both people close friends, there was ongoing dialogue over two years about this," he said. "It was almost to a point of being funny.

He decided to go for it when "I knew my marriage was really screwed up bad."

Hogan added that he's "devastated" about the release of the 6-year-old tape. He plans to sue Gawker, which posted a snippet of footage last week, and find out who leaked the tape. His attorney, David Houston, told E! News, "We

  • Texas Firefighters Resuscitate Dog

    ABC News' Joshua Gardner reports:

Firefighters' bravery and rescue skills are well-documented, and few emergencies are beyond their expertise, even when it comes to pumping life into the family dog.

The Arlington Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire in north Arlington, Texas, Sunday when the homeowner's father stopped by to feed the pets and saw flames. What ensued was the dramatic rescue of Leah, a border collie.

"We are in the business of saving peoples' things," fire department spokesman Lt. Kevin Seeton said. "Even if they lose everything else, saving these pets can really make their day."

Leah was found in the home's bathroom and taken outside, unresponsive, where rescuers began to administer oxygen using a specialized mask.

"We have dog- and cat-rescue masks," Seeton said. "Oftentimes, we get them on and pets start perking right up."

Sure enough, after nearly an hour of resuscitation efforts, Leah perked up. Not surprisingly, so did the firefighters.

  • Bear Cub Finds Arizona Home Just Right

A bear cub with a sweet tooth ravaged an Arizona kitchen making the owner of the home suspect that his grandchildren had made the mess.

The 30-pound cub broke in through the kitchen window of a home in Sonoita, Ariz., Thursday, and helped itself to a chocolate cake on the counter as well as jelly beans, chips and bread in the pantry.

The raid made the home's owner, Phil Volk, think it was the work of his grandchildren, possibly up for a very early morning snack.

When he went to check, instead of finding grandkids smeared in chocolate, he saw the bear, and the damage it had wrought.

"It pulled the lid off a chocolate cake on the counter and finished that off. It tipped the trash and went through the contents of that," Volk told the Arizona Daily Star. "It [the kitchen] was total disarray. He ate very well."

Volk and his wife called 911 and the Arizona Game and Fish Department sent an officer to their home. By the time the officer arrived, the bear, who did not attack any

  • ABC News' Suzan Clarke and Brian O'Keefe report:

Who was your favorite hunk - Bill or Jake? If you know who those characters are, chances are you're a fan of the popular '90s primetime soap opera "Melrose Place."

Named after a fictional apartment complex where the characters live, "Melrose Place" featured young, ambitious, attractive characters in over-the-top storylines with lots of romance and drama in Los Angeles.

And of course, there were the rival hunks - Billy Campbell, a struggling writer, and Jake Hanson, the bad-boy biker.

The show was a spinoff of the hugely popular "Beverly Hills: 90210." It was an instant hit when it debuted on Fox in 1992, and remained popular until it ended its run in 1999.

  • Costco Warehouses Adding Fine Art

    ABC News' John Muller reports:

Costco is famous for stretching the dollar. From groceries to electronics, beauty supplies to sporting goods, the warehouse club retailer offers it all, and now it's adding something else to its inventory: fine art.

Can you imagine getting a Matisse lithograph, or an Andy Warhol, just over $1,000 each?

Lots of people apparently have jumped at that chance. Since the pieces were listed on Costco's website two weeks ago, they've all sold out, including Kiku , a Warhol print that was being offered for $1,349.99; the Matisse lithograph, Femme au Chapeau, for $1,049; and Figure by Georges Braque, for $1,549.99.

Costco keeps the costs below those of many art galleries by charging no more than 14 percent mark-up - the same maximum mark-up on all the other items it sells.

The artwork will join other luxury offerings at Costco, including fine jewelry and designer wedding dressings.

The sale of fine art is certainly not new to discount chains.

The blog generates a whopping 1.5 million page views a month for Koenig - who is not a mother herself.
