  • Nebraska Boy Reunited With Stuffed Animal Three Years Later

(Photo credit: Obtained by ABC)For anyone who worries the Internet is pulling people apart and making the world less connected, here is a story to make you think twice.

It's the tale of a boy reunited with his beloved stuffed animal, with a 21st century twist.

Liam, from Omaha, Nebraska, was given a blue stuffed monkey by his grandparents for his first birthday. In 2009, Liam took his beloved stuffed toy, nicknamed "Ah-ah," on a family camping trip to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Ah-ah never made it home. The family searched for it to no avail and gave up hope - everyone, that is, except Liam's mom.

Earlier this year, three years after Ah-ah disappeared, she was searching eBay for a viola for Liam's sister, Emma. On a lark, she mom typed the words "blue monkey."

A heartwarming video made by Liam's dad, first seen on Hypervocal.com, shows the amazing story that followed.

Liam's mom, who is not identified in the video or news story, found a blue monkey from an eBay seller in Florida that looked enough like

  • Cat Survives 100-Mile Journey in Car's Bumper

(Gabe Dickens/Press Republican)They say that cats have nine lives but a 6-week-old kitten in New York might already be on her 10th.

The cat, nicknamed "Pumpkin," survived a 100-mile, 22-hour ride wedged to the outside bumper of her now-owner's car, surviving only because her tiny meows were finally heard.

Stacey Pulsifer, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., had crisscrossed 100 miles of interstate highway in her Jeep between three towns to attend a wedding when she finally stopped for coffee at a McDonald's, the Press Republican reported.

Besides the sounds of the drive-thru, Pulsifer also heard the tiny sounds of a meowing cat coming from her car. She kept driving while wondering from where the sound was coming. When the meows persisted, even after she arrived home, she called in reinforcements to help her search.

"I didn't know what to do so I called my friends to come help," Pulsifer told the paper. "We literally ripped my car apart."

After tearing through the car, what Pulsifer and her two friends found, in the

  • McDonald's Mangles Attempt to Reach Ethnic Community

(Arnold MPG & IW Group)McDonald's likes to boast that "Nothing can do it like McDonald's," but that sentiment apparently failed to get through to the fast-food giant's ad agency, which reportedly botched a billboard aimed at an Asian community in Minnesota.

The billboard is posted in an area of St. Paul, Minn., populated by members of the Hmong community, an Asian ethnic group originally from the mountainous regions of Southeast Asia.

SLIDESHOW: Fast-Food Ads vs. Reality: How Do They Size Up?

The billboard is supposed to translate as: "Coffee gets you up, breakfast gets you going."

Members of the local community say, however, that the sign's Hmong “Yuavtxhawbpabraukojsawv yuavntxivzograukoj mus" wording is not how they speak.

  • Is Britain's Prince Harry Hiding?

The world saw much more of Britain's Prince Harry than they ever expected after nude photos of him partying in Las Vegas were leaked online earlier this month.

Since then, however, the notoriously fun-loving prince has kept an uncharacteristically low profile, declining to speak to photographers as he returned home to England and notably absent from the Paralympic Games in London Thursday attended by his brother and sister-in-law, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

(Twitter/@jasminejae)British tabloids claim Harry's absence from the public eye is because the prince, 27, has been kept hidden by an unlikely source, his one-time rumored flame, Cressida Bonas.

"When everyone was looking for Harry, Harry was actually taking refuge with Cressida and her family," Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of UK's Majesty Magazine told ABC News.

Bonas, 23, is the daughter of 1960s model Lady Mark-Gaye Georgiana Lorna Curzon. Bonas and Harry were first

  • Husband Surprises Wife With Billboard to Help Her Job Search

WISTVThere's love and then there's this kind of love.

It involves buying space on two giant billboards in two of the busiest intersections in town and putting your wife's picture on them, listing all the reasons why an employer should hire her.

Such true love and more than anything, creativity, from one man led Holly Stuard of Sylvan, Ohio, to discover, to her surprise, a billboard with her picture reading "Please Hire My Wife," in giant, bold, black letters.

"I was definitely shocked," Stuard, 36, told ABC News, of the moment Monday night when her husband, Brandon, 38, showed her his handiwork.

"He made plans that we'd go out to dinner at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants on the other side of town so that we'd pass the billboard on our way," she said. "Our older son saw it before I did and said, 'Momma that picture looks like you.'"

  • Botched Art Restoration Becomes Online Sensation

The Spanish octogenarian whose botched do-it-yourself attempt at restoring an old fresco painting has gone from disaster to tourist attraction and Internet meme.

The woman, now identified as Cecilia Gimenez, found herself in the headlines earlier this month when it was revealed that she had attempted to repair a one-of-a-kind, century-old fresco by the Spanish painter Elias Garcia Martinez housed in her church for decades with a few broad brushstrokes.

The result of her work on Martinez's "Ecce Home" was described as resembling, "a crayon sketch of a very hairy monkey in an ill-fitting tunic," by one BBC reporter at the time, but has now developed a legion of supporters online and become a tourist draw at her church, the Santuario de Misericodia church in Borja, in northeastern Spain.

After church officials and officials at the Centro de Estudios Borjano museum, to which the painting had been donated by the

  • Ukrainian Art Exhibit Offers Real-Life 'Sleeping Beauty' Fairy-Tale

Naysayers who believe fairy-tale dreams don't come true should take a look at a new art installation in the Ukraine that features sleeping beauties.

(National Art Museum of Ukraine)They should, however, think twice before actually entering the exhibit. Any man who enters the exhibit and kisses one of the rotating sleeping beauties on the lips and sees her eyes open is required to marry her.

"Everybody, any viewer, will have to sign the contract, which says - this is very important, because nobody has to - 'if I kiss the beauty and she opens her eyes while being kissed, I marry her,'" Taras Polataiko, the Ukrainian-Canadian artist behind the exhibit, told the U.K.'s The Telegraph.

In the modern take on the classic fairy tale popularized by Disney, each "sleeping beauty" lies on an elevated bed in the exhibit, housed at the National Art Museum of Ukraine, in Kiev. Five women have so far signed up to be beauties and will rotate "sleeping," dressed in an all-white gown, in the museum for two hours at a time

  • More Photos Could Emerge in Prince Harry Naked Pic Scandal

Nearly one week after naked photos of Britain's Prince Harry taken in a Las Vegas hotel room emerged the scandal threatens to grow.

"Something pretty gigantic" is involved, an unnamed source told Las Vegas Review-Journal gossip columnist Norm Clarke. The source described the unknown scenario as "more serious" than the prince's game of "strip billiards" with pals that led to the headline-making photos released Aug. 22 showing Harry standing and covering his genitals with his hand in one photo and, in another, bear-hugging a naked woman.

The revelation came as the Wynn hotel, where Harry partied, reportedly to blow off steam before reporting back to his military duties, denied reports that casino mogul Steve Wynn picked up the almost $80,000 tab for the prince's visit.

"That's factually incorrect," Wynn spokesman Michael Weaver told Clarke.

The U.K.'s Daily Mail reports Prince Harry, 27, is "terrified" that

  • NYC Parks Worker Finds Lost Wedding Ring in Trash

    (NY Daily News/Getty Images)
A needle-in-a-haystack search by a New York City Parks Department worker willing to go the extra mile turned up a diamond in the rough, literally.

It also saved the day for Danielle Hatherly Carroll, an Australian artist who lost the diamond, her wedding ring, while teaching an outdoor art class in Battery Park on Sunday.

"It was really, really busy and we were wiping our hands frequently and throwing rags and towels into a large clear trash bag that one of my students had brought along," Hatherly Carroll, who lives in the East Village with her husband, Steve, told Goodmorningamerica.com. "Normally I'd be so conscious but it was so busy."

The couple came home so exhausted that when Hatherly Carroll woke up in the middle of the night she had an instinct that something was wrong.

"At 3:30 on Monday morning I woke up and felt my left hand right way and just thought, 'Oh, my God,' because I knew I hadn't taken [my wedding ring] off," she said. "I didn't have one doubt in mind
