  • Jennifer Aniston Reveals Biggest Misconception About Her

    Credit: InStyle

Actress Jennifer Aniston addressed the "most annoying misconception" about her life and relationships, insisting once and for all that there is no bad blood between her, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

"There are so many [misconceptions].  I would say the triangle with my ex-husband - and that there's a feud there … It's a story headline that won't go away," Aniston said in an interview in the March issue of Instyle Magazine. "It's a … story that has nothing to do with reality."

The public's fascination with the actress's love life hasn't waned since her 2005 split from Brad Pitt; the tabloids have followed her every move as she bounced from relationship to relationship and her ex settled down with Jolie and started their globe-trotting family.

But don't take pity on Aniston. The 43-year-old star has moved on with boyfriend Justin Theroux and says she's in a "joyful" and "peaceful" place in her life, and is wiser when it comes to love.

    "Having experienced

  • The pilot who flew fashion editor Lauren Scruggs above Dallas to view Christmas lights says he tried to warn the fashion editor about the plane's spinning propeller and thought she was safe until he heard someone cry out.

The pilot shut off the plane engine when he heard someone shout, "Stop, stop," and saw Scruggs' body on the ground, according to a federal report.

In a preliminary report released by the National Transportation Safety Administration Monday, the pilot recounts the moments before Scruggs' Dec. 3 accident in which she walked into the small plane's moving propeller and lost a hand and her left eye.

The unidentified pilot, reported to be Curt Richmond of Frisco, Texas, says he extended his arm out to guide her away from the propeller, and told her to walk behind the airplane.

"Upon noticing that she was exiting in front of the strut, the pilot leaned out of his seat and placed his right hand and arm in front of her to divert her away from the front of the

  • Rare White Penguin Spotted in Antarctica

In a sea of black and white penguins waddling on Antarctica's Aitcho Islands, National Geographic Explorers spotted an extremely rare, nearly all-white Chinstrap penguin this week.

David Stephens, a naturalist on board the Lindblad Expeditions' National Geographic Explorer ship, snapped the photo above of the rare leucistic bird, which he described on their blog as "whitish, but not quite an albino."

Leucistic penguins, sometime referred to as albinistic penguins, have a reduced level of pigmentation and are set apart from albinos due to their pigmented eyes, according to National Geographic. Their "washed-out" coloring clearly distinguishes them from the traditional black and white coat of the Chinstrap penguin.

It's so rare to find nearly all-white penguins, Stephens noted, because the birds' black and white coloring serves as crucial camouflage while diving for fish. Still, the leucistic penguins manage to breed normally, according to Stephens.

  • Canadian Star Skier Sarah Burke in Coma After Halfpipe Accident (ABC News)Sarah Burke, a top Canadian freestyle skier who was a gold-medal hopeful heading into the 2014 Winter Olympics, is in critical condition after crashing on the half-pipe course Tuesday afternoon.

"Sarah sustained serious injuries and remains intubated and sedated in critical condition," Dr. Safdar Ansari, a neurointensivist with University of Utah Health Care said in a statement released by Burke's publicist to ABC News. Burke is currently in the hospital's Neuro Critical Care Unit.

The 29-year-old Winter X Games winner was on a training run in the Eagle Superpipe at Park City Mountain Resort in Utah Tuesday when she hit her head after a faulty landing.  Burke was treated by ski patrol and then airlifted to University Hospital in Salt Lake, according to ESPN.

"It didn't look like it was a real stunner of a fall, but obviously it was one of those ones where she hit just right and it was more pointed than it appeared," Canadian Freestyle Ski Association CEO Peter Judge told

  • Prince William and Kate Middleton's Royal Travel Gifts Revealed

What do you get a royal couple who has everything? How about caribou antler goggles and a dragonfly brooch? Or a Peacock feather fascinator? A rag doll?

That's what three anonymous Canadians gave Prince William and Kate Middleton during their royal visit to North America this summer.

Buckingham Palace posted the full list of official gifts given to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their 2011 overseas tours on their website today, and the items run the gamut.

There are tons of traditional gift items like books, DVDs, pens, souvenirs, commemorative medallions, jewelry, scented soaps and art.

Other items have clear local or historical significance, such as framed aboriginal artwork the mayor of the City of Ipswich in Australia gave them during their March 2011 visit, or a "carved and inscribed building fragments from Christchurch earthquake" from New Zealand.

Then there's the odder swag. Anonymous fans in Australia gave the couple a sleeping bag, a jar

  • Salma Hayek to Be Knighted in France, Raising Some Eyebrows

She's an Oscar nominee, producer, humanitarian and now a French knight.

That's right. Salma Hayek, 45, was made a chevalier or knight of the Legion of Honor by French President Nicolas Sarkozy on New Year's Day.

Within the next two months, the "Puss in Boots" actress will receive a formal induction, which involves a presidential medal pinning, according to People magazine.

Hayek's father-in-law, French businessman François Pinault, was also honored with France's highest civilian distinction of grand officer.

The National Order of the Legion of Honor was created by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802 as merit award to honor military and civilian service in France and is separated into five ranks, beginning with knight, and going up to officer, commander, grander officer and grand cross.

Hayek's inclusion on the list raised some eyebrows in France, where some accused Sarkozy of advancing his political ambitions with his choice in honorees. Hayek's billionaire husband,

  • 'The Bachelor': Ben Flajnik Is Back, But Will He Find Love?

Who can forget the dramatic scene in last season's finale of " The Bachelorette" when Ben Flajnik got down on one knee to propose to Ashley Hebert, only to be rejected and then have the moment play out in front of a television audience of millions.

"I didn't know she was going to turn down my proposal. Obviously it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, but I'm glad that I'm here now in this position," Flajnik, 29, said today on " Good Morning America." "It's hard to look at that in retrospect and have any kind of regret really because I'm glad I followed through with something for once in a relationship. It was a good learning experience."

The Sonoma, Calif., winemaker is back on his feet and now has 25 women clamoring for his affection on the new season of ABC's hit reality-TV show, " The Bachelor."  (Not bad, he admits). Still it took some reflection for Flajnik to put himself out there again, but there's something about the setting and structure of the

  • After spending her first Christmas as a royal at the Queen's Sandringham estate, Kate Middleton went back to her roots, ringing in the New Year with husband Prince William in her hometown.

The royal pair reportedly celebrated 2012 at a party thrown by Middleton's sister Pippa at the Middleton family's Berkshire home. The 28-year-old event planner pitched a teepee-style tent, known as a kata, in the backyard, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail.

The tent, which Pippa Middleton reportedly rented for the event, costs around $5,000, and has a dance floor and seating for 100 guests. A bystander described it to the Daily Mail as a "canvas palace." (Given the buzz around the all-things Middleton, don't be surprised to see a kata at your next gathering).

Pippa comes from a family of party planners, (parents Michael and Carole Middleton own the U.K. party supply company Party Pieces), and she will reportedly bring her expertise to print in a new book in 2012.

  • Oklahoma Couple Weds at Starbucks

A Tulsa, Okla., couple whose love story started over a cup of coffee looked no further than their local Starbucks when it came time to tie the knot.

"We fell in love over conversations of coffee," bride Eva McCarthy Capparello said.

The bride and groom, Carmine Capparello, said "I do" Tuesday at their favorite Starbucks, which moved out the displays to make room for the bridal party and 50 guests.

The couple met on a dating site in 2008, but for two years built a friendship online, trading emails and messages. It wasn't until the spring of 2010 that they met in person - for coffee, of course, and clicked.

"We were friends. We would meet up for coffee, talk and talk for hours and hours over coffee," Eva Capparello said. "We hung out like that until we just fell in love."

Starting something serious wasn't something they had planned. Carmine Capparello, a member of the U.S. Navy, was being deployed to Iraq for 15 months that summer.

"We didn't want to get involved in a
