could be gaining back some of the 60-plus pounds she lost after giving birth to daughter Maxwell Drew in May.
Us Weekly reports that the singer and "Fashion Star" mentor is pregnant again.
The magazine quoted a source saying, "It definitely wasn't planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again."
Simpson's spokeswoman declined to comment on the report to ABCNews.com.
The baby would be the second for Simpson, 32, and her fiance, pro football player Eric Johnson, 33.
The pop star recently shed more than 60 pounds she gained while pregnant with her daughter through a Weight Watchers-controlled diet and four-times-a-week workout sessions with her trainer.
"In over 20 years, I've never seen as consistent of a weight loss," her trainer Harley Pasternak told Us last month. "Jessica's right where she needs to be."
Simpson's Weight Watchers leader Liz Josefsberg told the magazine, "She's very brave to do this in a healthy, more realistic way."
It was a busy weekend for hip-hop stars Rihanna and Chris Brown: First, Rihanna tweeted a shirtless photo of what appears to be ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, followed by her own topless photo. Then Brown launched into a vulgar attack on comedy writer Jenny Johnson before deactivating his Twitter account altogether.
It all started Saturday with Rihanna's posting a photo of what looks to be a half-naked Chris Brown lying face-down, his highly recognizable tattoos visible, on a bed covered with "The Simpsons" memorabilia and a handbag. The "Diamonds" singer posted the photo on Twitter, along with the hashtag "BartObsessed."
Hours earlier, Brown had posted a photo of himself wearing a Bart Simpson jacket.

Halle Berry may have to stay put on American soil for now. According to E! Online, a judge has denied the actress' request to move to France with her 4-year-old daughter Nahla. It is a win for Nahla's father, Berry's ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. Berry's rep did not respond immediately to ABCNews.com's request for comment.
In her request, filed in February in a Los Angeles family court, Berry told the judge that she was concerned for her personal safety and her child's, since two men who had stalked her were no longer locked up.
When the long-awaited final "Twilight" installment, " Breaking Dawn: Part 2," premieres in Los Angeles tonight, fans will get their first glimpse of the newest vampire, Mary, played by up-and-comer Toni Trucks.
"I don't think people will be disappointed," Trucks told ABCNews.com about the final film in the franchise, while refusing to give away any spoilers.
Trucks, 32, previously worked with "Breaking Dawn" director Bill Condon in "Dreamgirls" before she was cast as Mary, a lone vampire who is enlisted into the Cullen vampire family circle to protect Bella and Edward's new baby after the rival Volturi coven declares war on them.
"She truly is a solo vampire," Trucks said of her character. "She comes in because she believes in the fight, but she won't be back for the holidays. She's a badass."
Though Trucks won't be back either, she said "Twilight" fans, or Twilighters, have been completely receptive to her joining the franchise for the final film.
"Kors is pleased to announce that the First Lady, Michelle Obama, wore a Michael Kors magenta silk chine pintucked dress," the designer said in a press release to ABCNews.com.
She paired it with her other fashion staple - a black cardigan.
An Obama source told People that she chose the dress because, "she was so busy with the campaign and their kids that she had no time to think about an outfit and decided at the last minute."
In the frenzied hours leading up to Election Day, stars hit the campaign trail to stump for the presidential candidates.
President Obama kicked off his last full day of campaigning with Bruce Springsteen. After wrapping up a concert in Wisconsin, The Boss hitched a ride aboard Air Force One with the president, as they traveled to the next campaign stop in Columbus, Ohio.
"President Obama ran last time as a man of hope and change, and you hear a lot of talk about things are different," Springsteen told the Wisconsin crowd. "Things aren't any different now. They're just realer. It's crunch time now."
Jay-Z also performed for Obama in Columbus and offered a censored rendition of his controversial hit "99 Problems," replacing the word "b***" with "Mitt."

"People thought that making the film was the beginning of the end of my marriage, but I don't really think it was," Kidman wrote. "Tom and I were close then, and it was very much the three of us. Onscreen, the husband and wife are at odds, and Stanley wanted to use our marriage as a supposed reality."
"That was Stanley: He used the movie as provocation, pretending it was our sex life - which we weren't oblivious to, but obviously it wasn't us. We both decided to dedicate ourselves to a great filmmaker and artist," she said.
Kidman admitted that she had to get over her inhibitions about some of the movie's love scenes.
"Stanley had to coax me into some of the sexuality in the film in the beginning, but we shot things that were a lot more extreme that didn't end up in the movie. I did feel safe - I never felt it was exploitive (sic) or unintelligent. He was very different with women than he was with men. He has daughters, so he was very paternal with me."
Kidman said both she and Cruise were huge fans of Kubrick by the time they signed up to make "Eyes Wide Shut." They spent two years just shooting the film.
Adele has reportedly given birth to a boy.
A rep for the "Rolling in the Deep" singer did not respond to ABCNews.com's request for comment; however a family source confirmed the news to People.
In June, Adele, 24, posted a message on her web site announcing that she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Simon Konecki.
"Obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time," she wrote.
No word yet on the baby's name, but, with mom's pipes, he certainly lucked out in the lullaby department.
