WPIX TV reporter Mario Diaz was finishing a live report about actor Shia LaBeouf's latest escapades during the 5 p.m. newscast. As he was getting ready to wrap, a woman appeared in the background of his live shot. She was wearing a tall hat and a long black jacket, which she would open on camera to reveal a colorful top. After making a few gestures to the camera, the woman moved in on Diaz and went for a kiss.

    Here's a do-it-yourself slip-and-slide that you should not try at home: a homemade water luge atop a 50-foot cliff that sends you into the lake below. Devin Graham and his professionally trained SuperTramp stunt group took to the southern area of Lake Powell in Utah for the feat. There, the crew spent two days filming "Cliff Slip and Slide! 50 Feet! In 4K!" The final piece is just shy of three minutes long. Throughout the video, it looks as if everyone involved is having the time of his life. The setup for the slip-and-slide seems pretty straightforward save one key ingredient: a large tarp, a lot of water, and environment-friendly dish soap. The final addition ensures that all those participating will be able to slide off and clear the cliff before landing 50 feet below in the lake.

    An aircraft pilot recently found out through firsthand experience that it is possible to land a Harrier vertically. It was a normal flight day on June 7, according to U.S. Marine Corps Capt. William Mahoney. He took off from the USS Bataan in his AV-8B Harrier aircraft. Suddenly Mahoney realized something was not right with the Harrier. "As I was climbing away from the deck, I put my gear up," the captain recalled in a video documenting the incident. "[I] realized I had a gear malfunction."

Even Detroit Police Chief James Craig was taken aback by the story surrounding 12-year-old Charlie Bothuell. "I've never seen anything quite like this," the police chief told WXYZ TV in Detroit. "There's a lot of questions that need answering."

Sandoval's reason for starting Lava Mae was simple: She believes all humans have a right to be clean. Lava Mae's website notes that there are 6,500 homeless people in San Francisco. About 3,100 of them live on the streets.

His most recent cause is preventing others from drinking and driving, and he carried out the mission in the most literal sense. Sheen's connection to preventing drunken drivers dates back to June 22, 2013. That night, Matthew Cordle was operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He crashed into a Jeep driven by 61-year-old Vincent Canzani and killed him. According to an article published in March on BuzzFeed, Cordle's blood alcohol level was double the legal limit for the state of Ohio. When authorities asked him what had happened, Cordle didn't even realize he had been driving, let alone in an accident.

Manning works with a Doberman rescue organization to raise awareness about the breed. She also owns at least one of the dogs; his name is Bishop, and he is featured in a video she posted to her profile. "The dog is a prince and sometimes an evil genius," said Manning of her Doberman. She also made a somewhat sarcastic comment about her cat, Sophie, which Manning adopted after someone abandoned the kitten at a gas station. Regarding her viral video, Manning notes that she "can't imagine why" Sophie was left behind.

However, instead of the calico and wildcat fighting, the two became buddies. According to the website Life With Cats, this happened in 2007. Yet to this date, the kinship is still strong.
