Authorities must not abandon efforts to stop migrant smugglers: NATO's Stoltenberg

ANKARA (Reuters) - Human smugglers are still trying to move migrants across the Aegean Sea and into Europe and it is important that authorities do not abandon efforts to stop them prematurely, NATO General Secretary Jens Stoltenberg said on Thursday. Stoltenberg made the comment at a joint news conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in the capital Ankara.
